2014 was our first year at High Sierra Music Festival and it couldn’t have been better! We got to play throughout the weekend with our own band and sit in with various awesome musicians.
T Sisters appearances included our first set which started off the festival on Thursday morning at the fabulously decorated Vaudeville stage.
Our second set with the band was on Friday morning at the glorious Big Meadow stage.
We got to sit in on a couple of tunes with the Incidental Animals (members of ALO and String Cheese Incident). Singing supporting vocals on “Piece of My Heart” with Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band) was a major festival highlight for us!
We had a handful of other performances over the weekend including a troubadour session with Bo Carper (New Monsoon), John Craigie and Dan Liewbowitz aka Lebo (ALO); a rhythm and harmony “playshop” with a wonderful group from the Boston area, Darlingside featuring singer/songwriter Heather Maloney; and the Sunday morning gospel set with Scott Law, Bo, Lebo and many other great musicians. It was a blast meeting new folks, camping, eating good food and sharing music with many friends. We hope to return to High Sierra and experience the magic again!
