EP “Ready For Love” is follow up to Kindred Lines

When we were recording Kindred Lines, our first full-length album, there were a few songs that didn’t quite fit the feel of the album.  We decided to revisit them this winter, adding the sexy percussion stylings of Marlon Aldana, the killer steel guitar of James Nash, and deep, sultry vocals of Tom Rozum to breathe new life into the trio of songs.  We also recorded our own a cappella version of the Grateful Dead song ‘Attics of My Life,’ (lyrics by Robert Hunter), a dulcet love song that we had learned for our cousin’s wedding.  Ready for Love, the EP that includes the aforementioned songs, is a manifestation of past and present: songs that were born in an earlier stage of T Sisters development but now benefit from both our new development as musicians at the end our first full-time year as well as the contributions of some very fine bay area musicians.
